Melissa started in the real estate industry in 2011 as an office assistant with Stellar MLS—the third largest multiple listing service in the U.S. It was at Stellar that Melissa realized she had a passion for the MLS, and more specifically for the underlying data that powers the whole thing. This passion fueled Melissa through a series of management and executive roles within product, data, technology, and compliance at Stellar.  Melissa left Stellar MLS in 2021 to join Compass brokerage, broadening her experience within the industry. After her time with Compass, Melissa rejoined the MLS world to apply her expertise as V.P. of Strategic Alliances and Partnerships at Bright MLS.   Melissa has served on the Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS), the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO). She has been awarded for her contributions to both the RESO Data Dictionary workgroup, and the Broker Advisory Workgroup.  Melissa now proudly serves as the Chief Operating Officer at OneKey MLS and states that, more than anything, she loves to solve problems and help people – and have a little fun in the process!
