Jonathan Miller is the President and CEO of Miller Samuel Inc., a leading real estate appraisal and consulting firm he co-founded in 1986. His firm provides valuation services for up to $5 billion in property annually in the New York City metro area. A state-certified real estate appraiser in New York and Connecticut, he is also an expert witness in court cases nationwide. He holds The Counselors of Real Estate® (CRE®) designation and has served as a two-term President of RAC, a national appraisal organization specializing in complex residential properties. Since 1994, he has authored and generated market reports for Douglas Elliman, covering major markets such as New York City, Florida, and Southern California, which are relied upon by financial institutions, government agencies, and media outlets.

A widely recognized real estate analyst and commentator, Jonathan has appeared on CNBC, CNN, and ABC, among other top news outlets, discussing housing market trends. He serves on the NYC Mayor’s Economic Advisory Panel and teaches market analysis at Columbia University’s MSRED program. His research has been published by the University of Chicago’s Journal of Legal Studies, and he has developed home sale indices for Bright MLS.
