Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON ONLY.

1. 24th Annual LIBOR Education Conference and Trade Show

A) GRAND PRIZE SWEEPSTAKES: How to Enter: Each person who registers (registrant) for the 24th Annual LIBOR Education Conference and Trade Show (hereinafter referred to as LIBOR Education Conference) will receive a conference bag upon arrival at the conference on June 6, 2012. The conference bag will contain a card entitled “Grand Prize Sweepstakes Entry Card” (hereinafter referred to as Entry Card). Each registrant must write his or her name and telephone number on the Entry Card and drop off the Entry Card at the booth specified on the Entry Card between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on June 6, 2012. Winner Selection: Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes period stated above. The drawing will be conducted on June 6, 2012 between the hours of 12:01 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. by the sponsor named on the Entry Card and whose decision is final. One winner will be selected. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Prizes and Approximate Retail Value: $1,000.00 cash. Winner need not be present to win but must be a registrant of the 24th LIBOR Education Conference and Trade Show. If the Winner is present, the Winner will be given an oversized fake check at the Education Conference for a photo opportunity. Within one (1) week of the drawing, Winner must go to the office of the Long Island Board of Realtors, Inc. (LIBOR) located at 300 Sunrise Highway West Babylon, NY 11704 to claim prize. If the Winner is not present, the Winner will be notified on Thursday June 7, 2012 via the phone number(s) provided on the Entry Card and must claim prize within one (1) week of the notification at the office of LIBOR stated above. Winner’s List: The Winner’s name will be announced in LIBOR’s REALTOR® Newspaper. Incomplete or mechanically reproduced Entry Cards or Entry Cards that have been tampered with will be disqualified.

B) IPAD SWEEPSTAKES: How to Enter: Each person who registers (registrant) for the 24th Annual LIBOR Education Conference and Trade Show (hereinafter referred to as LIBOR Education Conference) will receive a conference bag upon arrival at the conference on June 6, 2012. The conference bag will contain a card entitled “IPAD Sweepstakes Entry Card” (hereinafter referred to as Entry Card). Each registrant must write his or her name and telephone number on the Entry Card and drop off the Entry Card at the booth specified on the Entry Card between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on June 6, 2012. Winner Selection: Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes period stated in this paragraph. The drawing will be conducted on June 6, 2012 between the hours of 12:01 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. by the sponsor named on the Entry Card and whose decision is final. One winner will be selected. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Prizes and Approximate Retail Value: Apple IPAD valued at $399.00. Winner need not be present to win but must be a registrant of the 24th LIBOR Education Conference and Trade Show. If the Winner is present, Winner will be given the IPAD at the LIBOR Conference. If the Winner is not present, the Winner will be notified on Thursday June 7, 2012 via the phone number(s) provided on the Entry Card and must claim prize within one (1) week of the notification at the office of LIBOR located at 300 Sunrise Highway West Babylon, NY 11704. Winner’s List: The Winner’s name will be announced in LIBOR’s REALTOR® Newspaper. Incomplete or mechanically reproduced Entry Cards or Entry Cards that have been tampered with will be disqualified.

C) WRAP UP SWEEPSTAKES: How to Enter: On June 6, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. in the “Wrap Up Room” of the 24th Annual LIBOR Education Conference and Trade Show an Entry Card entitled “Wrap Up Sweepstakes” (hereinafter referred to as Entry Card) will be handed out to each registrant of the LIBOR Education Conference who is present at the Wrap Up Room. A registrant may not pick up an Entry Card for another registrant who is not present at the Wrap Up Room. The location of the “Wrap Up Room” will be announced at the LIBOR Education Conference. Each registrant must write his or her name and telephone number on the Entry Card and place the Entry Card in the drum located in the Wrap Up Room between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on June 6, 2012. Winner Selection: Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes period stated in this paragraph. The drawing will be conducted on June 6, 2012 at the conclusion of the Wrap Up session by the sponsor named on the Entry Card and whose decision is final. One winner will be selected. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Prizes and Approximate Retail Value: Apple IPAD valued at $399.00 . Winner must be present to win. If the person whose name is called is not present at the time his or her name is called, the person will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner will be selected from all eligible entries received. The Winner will be given the Apple IPAD at the LIBOR Education Conference. Winner’s List: The Winner’s name will be announce in the LIBOR’s REALTOR® Newspaper. Incomplete or mechanically reproduced Entry Cards or Entry Cards that have been tampered with will be disqualified.

2. ENTRIES: Limit one (1) entry per registrant of the 24th Annual LIBOR Education Conference and Trade Show for each of the Sweepstakes prizes. Entries become the property of LIBOR and will not be returned. LIBOR has the right in its sole discretion to share, sell, or otherwise provide the information on the Entry Cards to Exhibitors at the 24th Annual LIBOR Education Conference and Trade Show in accordance with LIBOR’s privacy policy posted at www.liboredconference.com. No mechanically reproduced entries permitted. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the phone number filled out on the Entry Card. The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the phone number is assigned. Multiple Entries received from any person will void all such additional Entries. Any attempted form of entry other than as described herein is void. Entries that are incomplete or unintelligible for any reason are void and will not be accepted.

3. ELIGIBILITY: Open to all persons who register for the 24th Annual LIBOR Education Conference and Trade Show. Employees of LIBOR, its parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, participating advertising and promotion agencies, sponsors, and prize suppliers (and members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same household of each such employee) are not eligible.

4. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: Entrants must have a valid, operational phone number for contact purposes. Expenses not specifically included in prize description and all taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Each prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied outside of manufacturer’s limited warranty. No transfer, assignment or substitution of a prize permitted, except LIBOR reserves the right to substitute prize for an item of equal or greater value in the event an advertised prize is unavailable. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of LIBOR, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and where legally permissible a Publicity Release within 7 days following the date of the first notification. Failure to comply with this deadline may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Winner hereby further agrees that it will sign any documents necessary to transfer copyright of the entry to LIBOR within 7 days following the date of first attempted notification. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for LIBOR and its agencies to use winner’s name and/or likeness, biographical material and/or entry (including an altered form of the entry) for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold LIBOR, its advertising and promotion agencies, the sponsors, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representative agents, successors, assigns, officers, directors, and employees harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of the prize. LIBOR is not responsible for any printing, typographical, mechanical, or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize. LIBOR reserves the right to terminate the Sweepstakes or permanently disqualify from any promotion any person they believe has intentionally violated these Official Rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Sweepstakes or operation thereof is unlawful and subject to legal action by LIBOR, who may seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5. INTERNET: LIBOR is not responsible for errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials or Sweepstakes Rules, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by LIBOR on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof. LIBOR reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. LIBOR may prohibit an entrant from participating in a Sweepstakes if it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, deception or other unfair playing practices or intending to abuse, threaten or harass other entrants. Caution: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstake is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, LIBOR reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law.

6. DISPUTES/CHOICE OF LAW: Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by state or federal courts situated in Suffolk County, NY; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys’ fees; (3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including without limitation lost profits may be awarded (collectively “Special Damages”); and (4) entrant hereby waives all rights to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased. New York State, without reference to New York’s choice of law rules, governs the Sweepstakes and all aspects related thereto.

7. MISCELLANEOUS: The Long Island Board of Realtors®, Inc. (LIBOR), 300 Sunrise Highway, West Babylon, New York 11704 is running this Sweepstakes.

8. PRIVACY STATEMENT: Your personal information included on the Entry Card, in conjunction with this Sweepstakes, will be utilized by LIBOR for selecting prizewinners and will be governed by LIBOR’s Privacy Policy posted at: www.liboredconference.com in all other respects.
